RunHUD connects with Bluetooth sensors (heart rate straps, smartwatches, etc.) to display heart rate, pace, and cadence in real-time with large, clear numbers during your run.

Setup Instructions:
- Select Virtual Run activity on your watch
- Wait without starting (don't press start button)
- RunHUD app will automatically detect and connect
Note: Some older models require enabling "Settings > Sensors & Accessories > Broadcast Heart Rate"
COROS
PACE, APEX, VERTIX series
Setup Instructions:
- Go to Settings > Sensors > Enable "Broadcast HR"
- Select running mode and start activity
- Connect in RunHUD app
Note: COROS activates broadcast after activity starts
Polar
Vantage, Grit X, Pacer series
Setup Instructions:
- Go to Settings > General Settings > Bluetooth
- Enable "Visible to other devices"
- Start running activity
- Connect in RunHUD app
Note: Polar broadcasts heart rate only during activities
Suunto
Suunto 5, 9, Race series
Setup Instructions:
- Go to Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth
- Enable "Share HR" or "Broadcast heart rate"
- Start workout
- Connect in RunHUD app
Note: Suunto broadcasts only during workouts
Samsung Galaxy Watch
Galaxy Watch 4, 5, 6, Ultra
Setup Instructions:
- Open Samsung Health app
- Start running activity
- BLE broadcast activates automatically
- Connect in RunHUD app
Note: No manual setup required (automatic), broadcasts when activity starts
Apple Watch
⚠️ Not Supported
Apple Watch does not support real-time heart rate BLE broadcast to third-party apps.
Alternatives:
• Use a separate heart rate sensor (Garmin HRM, Polar H10, etc.)
• RunHUD WatchOS app coming soon
